Overview

Triple Zero City Strategy: this plan says how we think we should tackle drug & alcohol addiction across Birmingham. We want to aim for:

  • Zero deaths due to drug or alcohol addiction
  • Zero overdoses due to drug or alcohol addiction
  • Zero people living with any addiction without the support needed to manage it

Here we are asking you, the people of Birmingham, strategic partners and key agencies (including current service providers) to give us your views on our plan.  Our proposed new approach is set out in the draft Triple Zero City Strategy (see the “Related” section at the bottom of this page for a link to this document) and is intended to direct our actions in Birmingham over the next ten years.

The draft Triple Zero City Strategy has been developed using data and information gathered from the areas of need in our City and in partnership with Birmingham City Council, the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner and other statutory partners and service providers. Now we would like to take on board the voices and experiences of citizens and stakeholders through wide-ranging public consultation.  We would like to know whether you think our approach is right, and to have your help in shaping our thinking and future actions.
