Proposal to Make Changes to Springfield House Community Special School:

Birmingham City Council is consulting on a statutory proposal to make the following change to the school(s), a community school located at Springfield Kenilworth Road, Knowle, Solihull, West Midlands, B93 0AJ

  • Remove boarding provision

Why your views matter

There is a process that Birmingham City Council must follow to propose and decide this type of change. The process requires public consultaiton to invite comments from interested parties.

What happens next

The statutory consultation consultation will start on 22nd September 2022 and close on 20th October 2022.

During this time, anyone may make comments in support or objection to this proposal via the survey link at the bottom of this webpage.

At the end of the consultation period, all responses will be presented to the Birmingham City Council for consideration for continuing to statutory the decision maker for their consideration*. The decision maker is Birmingham City Council's Cabinet Member for Education, Skills and Culture.

When the decision has been made, the official determination will be published on this webpage with a link to the decision report will be sent to stakeholders.
