Your opinions on Forward, the council publication.

You said

It’s positive news that 91 per cent of those who responded to the survey expressed satisfaction – with 90 per cent feeling more informed about council activities as a result of reading Forward. Plus 79 per cent said they always read Forward, with only four per cent saying they rarely read it, and just one per cent never reading the publication. Whilst 23 per cent felt the frequency of Forward was not enough, two-thirds, at 67 per cent, felt the frequency was about right at four times a year.

We did

We’ve been working hard to make Forward a publication that residents continue to be interested in reading and we are now placing an emphasis on including shorter, ‘snappier’, proactive articles so that readers are given even more practical advice and ‘know-how’ information – as well as a general overview of what the council has been doing. We want to further increase the number of residents who feel informed about the wide-range of activities the council has to offer and we are looking at ways to encourage more people to always read Forward.
