Overview
Project background
Birmingham City Council Public Health is running a project called the ‘Birmingham Culturally Intelligent Approach to Headache Disorder in Pakistani Communities (BCIAHP)’. The project aims to increase awareness and understanding of headaches and migraines within Pakistani communities in Birmingham. We hope that people can help themselves better, and get help from the health system better when they need it. To learn more about the project visit www.birmingham.gov.uk/BCIAHP
Aim of this survey
This project has created a video, booklet and poster in English & Urdu with members of the Pakistani community, and healthcare professionals. This survey is to gather feedback so we know how useful they are. Please ensure you have watched or read at least one of the BCIAHP resources (in English or Urdu) listed below prior to completing the survey:

Who is eligible?
You are eligible for this survey if you:
- Are Pakistani or British Pakistani
- Experience headaches or migraines or care for someone who does
- Are age 18+
- Live in and/or access health services in Birmingham or care for someone who does

By completing this 15 min survey by Fri 14th November 2025 and providing your email you will be in with a chance to win one of four £25 vouchers from Birmingham Public Health.
Prize draw Terms & Conditions
- Entry closes on 14th November 2025
- Four winners will each receive a £25 voucher
- The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available
- One entry per person
- The winners will be selected at random from all valid entries
- The winners will be notified via email within 7 working days of the closing date
- If the winners do not respond within 14 days, new winners may be selected
- The voucher will be sent via email within 30 days of confirmation

Data Protection
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), personal data from this survey will be stored securely and held by Birmingham City Council. Personal data collected in this survey will not be shared with any other organisation. Your responses will be used solely for the Birmingham Culturally Intelligent Approach to Headache Disorder in Pakistani Communities (BCIAHP) project and will be kept confidential. Responses will be anonymised, and individuals will not be identified.
