Birmingham 5 Ways to Wellbeing
Overview
Help shape Birmingham's 5 Ways to Wellbeing booklet
We are seeking feedback from Birmingham residents, community groups, and organisations to better understand how people use the 5 Ways to Wellbeing : Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give—to support their mental health and wellbeing. We are especially interested in understanding how culture, community, and lived experience influence wellbeing across Birmingham's diverse population.
We want to better understand these experiences so that we can develop a culturally competent and inclusive Birmingham-based 5 Ways to Wellbeing booklet that reflects the city's diverse communities.
The booklet will be a free public resource designed to help Birmingham residents discover practical ways to improve their wellbeing, learn from the experiences of others, and find local activities, groups, organisations, and community assets that support mental health and wellbeing. Your feedback will directly influence the content of the booklet, helping us ensure that it reflects the experiences, strengths, and wellbeing practices of people across Birmingham. The findings will also contribute to wider work taking place through the Creating a Mentally Healthy City Strategy and the Live Framework for Action.
This survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Responses will be anonymous unless you choose to provide your contact details. Your answers may be quoted anonymously in the booklet. You can skip any question you don't want to answer. Your data will be held securely and used only for this project.
Privacy: The information you provide will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR, and in line with the Birmingham City Council Privacy Policy.
Thank you for taking part.
