Birmingham Youth Strategy (2027-2032) Consultation Survey

Overview

Birmingham is a young and diverse city, and young people are at the heart of its future. We have developed a draft Birmingham Youth Strategy to help improve outcomes for young people and ensure they have the opportunities, support and environments they need to thrive.

Our Youth Reference Group has already helped shape the draft strategy by sharing what matters most to them and the changes they would like to see for young people in Birmingham.

We are now inviting more young people as well as parents, carers and professionals across the city, to help shape the final strategy. We want to understand whether we have identified the right priorities for young people, what may be missing, and where the strategy could be strengthened.

Why your views matter

We would like your views on:

The proposed vision and ambition for young people in Birmingham.
The principles that will guide delivery.
The proposed priorities within the strategy.

Your feedback will help refine the strategy before it is finalised. Following consultation, we will review all responses, update the strategy where appropriate, and work with partners and young people to develop an action plan to support delivery.

Thank you for taking the time to share your views.
