Overview
We would like to seek your views on proposed improvements at Cannon Hill Park – Southern Play Area. We are currently upgrading the existing play area and feel that there is a lot of exciting potential for improvement and enhancement in other areas of the park too.
We are proposing a potential new path for improved accessibility, surfacing improvements, new picnic areas, potential new willow structure and a new play area with new and exciting pieces of play equipment. Our aim is to make the site more accessible for all and create an inclusive environment. Please refer to the plan for more detail.
Why your views matter
We would like to gather your insight and appreciate your input as you are the users of the park and you know first hand what improvements you would like to see. We would like to design a space with your views in mind so you can enjoy the park as much as possible.
What happens next
The detailed design of the play area will be finalised once we have completed the Public Consultation exercise to understand and assess whether the current proposals are in line with park visitor’s needs and aspirations. We hope to commence construction of the new play area by the end of the year.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this consultation, your opinions and feedback are valued.
