The City Council currently operates a Choice Based Lettings Scheme where available properties are advertised and applicants can express an interest in these properties by placing a 'bid'.

The City Council currently operates a Choice Based Lettings Scheme where available properties are advertised and applicants can express their interest by placing a 'bid' The Council is looking at changing to a Managed Choice System which is a combination of both a Choice Based Lettings System and a Direct Offer system. Because of this change, a number of homes could be allocated through direct offers. We believe this will enable us to move people in critical situations into suitable accommodation faster, Do you agree with this?
