Improvement at Alexander Way Play Area

Overview

Birmingham City Council is proposing improvements to the Alexander Way Play Area to provide a higher-quality and more inclusive play environment for local families. The site currently contains two play areas; however, one is closed due to its poor condition, while the other requires significant investment and refurbishment.

As part of the proposals, one play area will be removed and the remaining play area will be fully refurbished. The upgraded facility will include a range of inclusive play equipment, creating opportunities for able and disabled children to play together in a safe, accessible, and enjoyable environment.
