Lickey Hills Country Park New Play Area Proposals Public Consultation 2025
Overview
We would like to seek your views on proposed improvements at Lickey Hills Country Park, which will include play area and landscape improvements as well as potential future enhancements.
The existing play area is no longer fit for purpose and its location suffers from regular flooding and poor accessibility. A brand new, all-age, fully inclusive play area is being designed to be located next to the Visitor Centre. Additional opportunities for play as well as a new outdoor gym facility are proposed as part of future phases of work, as and when funding becomes available. Please take a look at the current proposals, we would love to know what you think!
Please refer to the document under "Related" when answering the public consultation to see our full scope of the proposal for the Lickey Hills Country Park!
The detailed design of the play area will be finalised once we have completed the Public Consultation exercise to understand and assess whether the current proposals are in line with park visitor’s needs and aspirations. We hope to commence construction of the new play area in the summer with the view to completion by Autumn 2025.
Why your views matter
We would like to have your input as you are the users of the park and you know first hand what improvements you would like to see. We would like to design a space with your views in mind so you can enjoy the park as much as possible.
What happens next
