Local Plan - Focused Preferred Options Consultation 2025

Opens 23 Oct 2025

Closes 4 Dec 2025

Overview

The next stage of the Local Plan process is the Focused Preferred Options Document (FPOD), which we are consulting upon now. The public consultation period opens on Thursday 23 October and closes on Thursday 4 December 2025.

Please use the link below to take you to the Planning Consultation Portal, where you can either read the FPOD or read and register to submit comments. The FPOD is a Discussion Paper on the proposed Development Strategy for the City up to 2044 and a series of questions are set out, which we would like to hear you views on.  All comments submitted will be carefully assessed and used in the preparation of the next stage of the Local Plan process, known as the Publication Plan.
