Oral health survey for citizens of Birmingham
Overview
Thank you for agreeing to take part in this survey which is exploring your experiences and opinions of dental health.
When we talk about oral health, we are talking about the health of our teeth, mouth, and gums. Our oral health can impact on other things such as how we eat, how we communicate, and it may leave some people with pain.
Your answers to the questions in this survey will remain anonymous (i.e. you will not be identified in any way). We want to understand more about the challenges that people face when looking after the health of their teeth, mouth and gums. We also want to understand what you think can be done to improve peoples experience of looking after their teeth and gums. This includes dental services.
There are four parts to this survey:
-
Looking after your own teeth and gums.
-
Getting a dentist appointment and visiting the dentist.
-
Children's teeth and gums (if you do not have child care responsibilities then you will not be directed to answer these questions).
-
General questions about yourself which will help us to understand more about the people who have answered the survey.
We care about your views and will use these to help shape services in Birmingham.
What happens next
Thank you for your input into this oral health survey. Your responses will be carefully reviewed and used to shape services to better meet the needs of the population of Birmingham.
