Reddings Lane Park Landscape Improvements
Overview
Birmingham City Council are proposing a number of landscape improvements to Reddings Lane Park as part of the final phase of improvements works using protected funding specifically allocated to this park. The current proposed improvements include:
- Refurbishment of the existing cricket wicket
- Improvements to the cricket practice cage
- Opening up the vegetated area and introducing new wildflower planting within to create a woodland style route with improved natural surveillance
- New wetland scrapes with planting
- New tree planting adding ecological value and seasonal interest
- Drainage improvements
- Potential new telescopic bollards to the carpark
- New cycle parking
- Increased seating opportunities and more litter bins
