Sarehole Mill is a 250-year old historic watermill located in Hall Green, Birmingham. It is best known for it's connection to J.R.R. Tolkien, who grew up nearby; the mill and it's rural surroundings inspired aspects of Middle Earth in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
The site includes:
- The Mill - a historic working mill
- Middle-earth exhibits
- Woodland walks
