DCSC Staff Survey For Social Workers and Managers
Overview
The completion of all great works depends on the labour, help and goodwill of many and those who sit on the Children First project board see the contributions of all, as a great asset and imperative to the success of the project. The work of the Disabled Children’s Social Care Service is vital to the care, support and safeguarding of disabled children in our communities.
This survey and the following workshop is designed to give you a voice in the future development of your role and the service as a whole. There are a number of questions that we have asked and we value your input and opinion. This is an opportunity to shape the role and I hope that you can either complete the survey and/or attend a focus group.
We are working to a tight timescale, so please complete and return your survey by Friday 5th February
Once we have received the completed surveys, those who wish to participate will be invited to a focus group to expand on some of the answers. We will then be seeking further views from involved parties, which will involve social workers, external partners, parents and carers and the children with which we work.
We are hoping that towards the end of March we can then all meet again to look at the themes from the surveys and all of the groups to inform the model going forward. If you have any queries about the process or the project, please send them to: childrenfirst@birminghamchildrenstrust.co.uk
Please note this survey is confidential and anonymous.
Towards the end of the survey there is an option to enter your email address if you would like a copy of your response. If you do this your email address is not submitted with the survey, and this is optional and can be left blank.
