This consultation formed part of a larger project and filtered into decisions made and recommendations for changes to take place.

Overview

The City Council is considering to introduce highway improvements measures at several roundabouts along the B4146 road corridor. The roundabouts included in the scheme are:

  • Cole Bank Road / Sarehole Road Roundabout
  • Swanshurst Lane / Wake Green Road / Cole Bank Road Roundabout
  • Wheeler's Lane / Brook Lane / Coldbath Road Roundabout

 

The proposals include changes to the geometry of the roundabouts in order to encourage safer movements across each of these junctions and are shown on the plans attached below.
