Overview

In late 2011, the City Council introduced changes to the Jewellery Quarter Controlled Parking Zone. The purpose of these changes was to try to improve the provision of on-street parking in the area for local residents and businesses, better reflecting changes which have taken place in the area during the last fifteen years or so.

The changes were introduced following lengthy consultation with local residents, businesses and other stakeholders regarding what sort of parking arrangements may be most appropriate in the Quarter. The introduction of parking schemes is not an exact science and there will almost always be issues which might need to be addressed.

Now that the scheme has been in place for over 12 months, we would like to understand locals' views on the changes to parking that have been made and whether you feel if there is a need for the Council to consider any additional changes which could be made to the scheme.
