Overview
Dear Colleague,
We’d like to hear your views on the rewards and benefits you receive as an employee of Birmingham City Council – those things you might get in addition to your pay like pension, annual leave and flex time, health and wellbeing support, My Birmingham Rewards, and paying for childcare vouchers and travel passes straight from your salary.
Why your views matter
As part of our current review into the way we work as an organisation – our Workforce Strategy – we will be developing a new vision, ways of working and structure that embody our shared purpose and values: putting citizens first, being true to our word, acting courageously and achieving excellence. So that we can all respond better to the changing needs of Birmingham people, this new way of working will involve greater opportunities for agile working, career and skills development and some new employee benefits.
In this survey, we’d like to find out:
· What you know about the rewards and benefits you currently get from the council
· Which of these is valued by you
· What you’d like to see offered in the future
