Overview
Birmingham City Council is considering a proposal to provide a raised uncontrolled crossing over Cardigan Street to link City Park with the new Birmingham City University Phase 2 Building. It is also proposed to provide enhanced surfacing the same as that within the park which will integrate with the material used by Birmingham City University. The proposed scheme has been designed to provide a dedicated crossing point over Cardigan Street linking City Park with the new Birmingham City University Phase 2 Building.
The works are provisionally programmed for construction in early 2015 to be completed before the occupation of the Birmingham City University Phase 2 building.
