City Council Meetings

The Corporate Resources O&S Committee is looking at the monthly City Council meeting and how it might be improved.  Included on the agenda for that meeting are questions from members of the public to the Leader, Deputy Leader, Cabinet Members and District Committee Chairs.

We want to hear your views on public questions - how useful they are and how they might be improved.

Following this survey and other evidence gathering by the Committee, a report will be discussed at City Council in April, and the Leader will be asked to consider whether any changes should be made.

This information was used to inform the Committee's report "The City Council Meeting" which was discussed at the City Council meeting on 5th April 2016.  The suggested actions were approved and will be included in the annual review of the City Council's Constitution.
