COVID-19 impact on local business community.
Overview
The city’s business community is facing unprecedented challenges and we want to better understand those challenges in order to help businesses get the support they need - over and above the measures set out by the Chancellor on Tuesday. Given the rapidly evolving situation we need to act with urgency to gather information and get support through the system to business. I am therefore asking for your help in answering a few questions which will help us gather a body of evidence to make the strongest possible business case to secure additional funding at a local level to assist you in weathering the storm.
The City Council will use this information to produce a body of evidence that will be used to raise awareness of the situation on the ground with all of our partners involved in helping business, local and national, as well as generate support for measures geared towards addressing the challenges that business are facing.
This is why I’m asking you to quickly complete this survey by Friday 27th March 2020. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
