We did

The scheme will be reviewed in light of the feedback received which may result in some changes to the proposals. The scheme plans, including any updates following the consultation, will be available to view on the Iron Lane website Here is the link to the website http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/ironlane.

The Full Business Case for the scheme will be developed and be presented in summer 2016 to the Cabinet Member for approval. Subject to securing all approvals and private land interests the works are programmed to commence on site spring 2017 with works programme duration of 18 months. 

Overview

 In September 2015 we carrided out a consultation seeking your views on the proposals for Albert Road / Northcote Road as part of the above mentioned scheme.

We have considered the feedback received and have developed a revised proposal which is shown on drawing number CA-02709-S1-026 and comprises the following:

  • Access from Albert Road to Station Road to be maintained for all vehicles.
  • One way system, including parking bay, on Station Road outside property no’s 51 to 61.
  • Widening of the footway along Station Road outside property no’s 51 to 61 to provide for a shared use cycle / footway.
