Overview

Sarehole Mill Museum is held in trust by Birmingham City Council. It is a registered charity (number 254995) known as “Sarehole Mill Recreation Ground (Foster for Botanical Gardens etc.)”. It is managed by Birmingham Museums Trust which is an established charity registered with the Charity Commission (number 1147014) on short term leases. The Council wishes to grant Birmingham Museums Trust a longer lease and needs the consent of the Charity Commission to do so. This consultation is asking members of the public for their views on the proposal set out in the consultation.

It is important to Birmingham City Council that the views of anyone who might be affected by, or have an interest in Sarehole Mill are sought and that there is transparency about the plans for the management of Sarehole Mill.
