Route to Zero Public Survey 2022

Overview

Welcome to the Route to Zero Public Survey 2022

On 11th June 2019, Birmingham City Council declared a climate emergency and made a commitment to take action to reduce the city’s carbon emissions and limit climate change. Our ambition is for the council and the wider city to become net zero carbon by 2030, or as soon as possible as a just transition allows. This is our ‘Route to Zero’.

We are engaging with people in Birmingham to find out more about their awareness and understanding of the climate emergency, as well as understand the barriers to making positive change. We want to hear your views and ideas for what can be done in the city to help tackle climate change, and what you think a greener, more sustainable future for Birmingham should look like.

Your responses will help the council to shape our response to the climate emergency, and the future work of the Route to Zero programme. We will also share an analysis of the findings with the national Climate Change Committee, to help inform their work.

This survey will close on Monday 28th February 2022.
