Overview

West Midlands Rail has been working alongside the Department for Transport to produce a joint public consultation on the next West Midlands Rail Franchise.

Who is West Midlands Rail?

West Midlands Rail is a partnership of fourteen Metropolitan District, Shire and Unitary local authorities and Centro working together to have greater local control over rail services.

What is the West Midlands Rail Franchise?

The West Midlands Rail Franchise covers all rail services and stations currently operated by London Midland. The Franchise is due to end in October 2017.

Have your say

We want you to have your say on the future of rail services and stations currently operated by London Midland.

What will happen to my comments?

Your comments will help inform what the Department for Transport and West Midlands Rail ask for the next West Midlands Franchise to provide for passengers and stakeholders.

How can I take part?

The Department for Transport is hosting the consultation. Their website will have:

  • A map of rail stations and routes currently operated by London Midland;
  • A consultation document that will tell you more information about what we want you to have your say on;
  • Details of public events which you can attend and speak to West Midlands Rail and Department for Transport officers; and
  • A questionnaire to have your say.
