Overview

Thank you for your interest in this online survey. This survey is being carried out by Birmingham City Council.

Why are you doing a survey?

We would like to hear about your understanding and views regarding the Tax Free Childcare scheme rolled out by HMRC in 2017.   

We hope that this survey will help to improve access to childcare for families and support the process and financial sustainability for childcare providers in Birmingham.

Why your views matter

What are the questions about?

It should take you about 10 minutes. We ask about the type of childcare setting you operate, your understanding, opinions and experiences of the Tax Free Childcare Scheme.

In addition we will also ask some questions about you as a provider e.g. contact details, the area of Birmingham where your setting is located etc so that we can make comparisons.

How will the survey be used?

We will write a report based on people’s answers and use the information to inform our future strategies regarding Tax Free Childcare. We will not publish your individual survey responses or share them with anyone outside the survey team.

The report will be published by Birmingham City Council in Summer 2022.

How will my data be protected?

This survey is anonymous and no names will be used in any reporting.

You will not be able to withdraw your answers once you have filled out the survey, because we will not be able to tell which answers are yours.
