Birmingham Windrush 75 (2023) Events

Overview

Birmingham City Council would like to share the details of community-led activities planned across Birmingham to mark the 75th anniversary of HMT Windrush’s arrival on 21 June 1948. We want to ensure members of the Windrush generation and our city’s diverse communities are aware of activities taking place across Birmingham.   

To make this as accessible as possible, we are creating a free digital platform on the Birmingham City Council website which will include all Windrush 75 activities. We are now asking all organisations and local community groups for details of their planned activities to populate the site.

All information provided by you in the survey will be published on the Birmingham City Council website. By providing a response you consent to use of your organisation, event and personal details on the Birmingham City Council website which is accessible to the public.
