We did
We analysed the comments and created the consultation results summary document. We downloaded or digitised all responses and removed personal or identifying information (redacted). We have sent all of the redacted responses with a report to the decision makers (Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Schools and the Corporate Director for Children and Young People). The responses will be considered as part of the decision making process.
We will update this section with further inforamtion once a decision has been made.
Determination (decision):
This proposal was approved jointly by the Cabinet Member for Children Families and Schools and the Corporate Director for Children and Young People on 23rd January 2018.
The Local Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred on it, has determined to implement the proposal as detailed.

Overview
Boldmere Infant and Nursery School and Boldmere Junior School are community schools located in the Sutton Vesey ward of the Sutton Coldfield district.
The infant school currently caters for up to 270 pupils from 3 – 7 years. The school also has a 26 full time equivalent nursery class (26 children attend in the morning and 26 children attend in the afternoon.)
Boldmere Infant and Nursery School is federated with Boldmere Junior School.
The junior school currently caters for up to 360 pupils from 7– 11 years; pupils from the infant school transfer to the junior school at Year 3.
Why your views matter
Birmingham City Council, as the Local Authority for Birmingham, in collaboration with the school leadership and governing body, has carried out a consultation on the draft proposal to establish a special educational needs (SEN) provision in a resource base at Boldmere Infant and Nursery School and Boldmere Junior School from 1st September 2018.
Having considered all comments received to the draft proposal we are here publishing the final proposal to establish a special educational needs (SEN) provision in a resource base at Boldmere Infant and Nursery School and Boldmere Junior School from 1st September 2018.
The statutory (representation) consultation will start on 9th November 2017 and will run 4 weeks until 6th December 2017
What happens next
During this time anyone who wishes to make comments/objections about this final proposal should do so via this survey or in writing to the School Organisation Team, Education & Skills Infrastructure, PO Box 15843, Birmingham B2 2RT.
Following the statutory consultation, all comments will be forwarded to the decision maker, The Cabinet Member for Families and Schools and the Interim Corporate Director for Children & Young People who will consider all comments and make a decision on the proposal by 6th February 2018.
We will update the “We Asked, You Said, We Did" when a decision has been made.
