Community Consultation – Six Ways
Feedback updated 16 Mar 2017
We asked
We asked for your comments on the proposed changes to services currently delivered by the Six Ways Children’s Centre, and the possible impact of these changes for the children, families and the community. The Local Authority received written notice from E-ACT on the 20th August 2015 of its intention to step down as Service Provider for Six Ways Children’s Centre. E-ACT has been working with the Local Authority and Bloomsbury Children’s Centre to support this transition, including the planned changes and relocation of services

We received 7 responses electronically via the Be Heard website
An additional 119 written responses were received
So in total we received 126 responses
The responses were from a mixture of parents, carers and local residents
You wrote a range of comments that were analysed with a view to provide services that would continue to be responsive to the needs of the community at a range of community venues
We did
In February 2016 EACT retracted their notice, as they decided that they would await the outcome of the Early Years Health and Wellbeing offer. So all existing services remained at Six Ways Children’s Centre
We thank all respondents for taking part in the consultation, your comments were greatly appreciated and were used to plan additional services within the community in addition to those that were to continue due to the notice being withdrawn.
