Out-of-School Spaces Parent Survey
Overview
Birmingham is being funded by the Department for Education to take an all-inclusive look at out-of-school spaces across the city. This includes clubs and activities after school, on the weekends and during the school holidays.
The project has the following objectives -
- to ascertain the number of out-of-school spaces operating in Birmingham
- provide guidance and support to all out-of-school spaces to fulfil their legislative duties to ‘safeguard and promote the welfare of all children’
- research the views of parent/ carers that use out-of-school spaces for their child/ren
- research the views of children/ young people who use out-of-school spaces
Why your views matter
As mentioned above, one of the aims of the project is to research the views of parent/ carers that use out-of-school spaces for their child/ren. If you are such a parent/ carer then please complete the following consultation to help provide an accurate picture of how you and your family use these spaces.
