Peer Mentorship Programme Lighthouse Event for Guests

Overview

You are invited to attend an event at Lighthouse Youth Centre as a guest for a Peer Mentor volunteer. You will need to complete this survey to register for this event by the 14th August. The activity spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis and we will try our best to accommodate your choice. We will send you a final confirmation email before the event. You can only attend this event once you receive the final confirmation.

You will join us for any one of the free activities on the day and enjoy lunch with us. This will be an opportunity for you to speak to our trained volunteers about health and wellbeing issues.

Event at Light House Youth Centre on 19th August 2022 (10am- 2.30pm)

Date: 19th August 2022 (10.00 am- 2.30 pm)
Who can participate:

  • Anyone that is 18 to 35 years old
  • Has been invited by a registered Peer Mentor

Activities include:

  • 10.00 am: Registration + tea/refreshment
  • 10.30 am - 12.00 noon: Morning  session (free activities included)
  • 12.00 noon - 1.00 pm: Lunch (hot buffet provided for all the candidates)
  • 1.00 pm - 2.30 pm: Afternoon session (free activities provided)

Activities: You can only choose one activity

  • Activity 1 Cake Art: 10.30 am - 11.30 am
  • Activity 2 Bingo: 10.30 am - 11.30 am, 1.00 pm – 2.00 pm
  • Activity 3 Jewellery Making: 1.00 pm -2.00 pm
  • 11.30 am - 12.00 noon, 2.00 pm - 2.30 pm: Peer led activity to share information on health and wellbeing issues (this will be delivered by those who have received one or more training sessions)
