Birmingham Public Health and HEAT CIC Mapping Exercise of 3rd Sector Organisations

Overview

Public Health Birmingham in partnership with HEAT CIC are undertaking a mapping exercise of 3^rd sector organisations that are currently delivering services or projects related to Birmingham’s key health outcomes. The project aims to gather a portfolio of 3^rd sector deliverers to get a better understanding on the quantity and quality of delivery within the city.

The mapping exercise is the 1^st stage of this campaign which we plan to evolve into a ‘Public Health Mark’ where groups and organisations can strive towards this status, which will increase the quality of delivery and services to Birmingham residents and also act as a reference to future funders. Thus rewarding good practice and working more closely with groups in need of improvement.
