Proposal to Make Changes to Hamilton School:

Governing Board is consulting on a proposal to make the following change to the school, a Foundation Special school school located at Hamilton Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, B21 8AH

• Alter the age range from 4 – 11 years to 4 – 13 years.
• Effective from 1^st September 2023 to 31^st August 2025.

Why your views matter

There is a process that the Governing Board must follow to propose and decide this type of change. The process requires public consultaiton to invite comments from interested parties.

What happens next

The statutory consultation will start on 10 January 2023 and close on 7 February 2023.

During this time, anyone may make comments in support or objection to this proposal via the survey link at the bottom of this webpage*.

At the end of the consultation period, all responses will be presented to Governing Board for consideration for continuing.  The decision maker is the Governing Board.

When the decision has been made, the official determination will be published on this webpage.
