Birmingham OOSS Project - Introduction to Children's Rights

Closed 31 Mar 2021

Opened 2 Oct 2020

Overview

UNICEF UK has been commissioned by the DfE-funded Out of School Settings Team in Birmingham, to develop and deliver bespoke courses for those who run community activities, before/ after school clubs or tuition in the city.

Why your views matter

UNICEF UK ordinarily works with schools in the UK to create safe and inspiring places to learn, where children are respected, their talents are nurtured and they are able to thrive. Using the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) the Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) embeds these values in daily school life and gives children the best chance to lead happy, healthy lives and to be responsible, active citizens.

Working with this project, UNICEF UK has developed a programme for out of school settings.

These courses are the first of their kind in the UK and it's important for us to understand your experience as a delegate and ways in which they can be improved.
