Birmingham Bookstart Order Form for EYC Settings/Nurseries 2021-22

Overview

Order Information - Please read before completing your order.

• Bookstart Treasure Packs are for children aged over 3 - under 4 years old (Nursery year).  You are ordering for the school year September 2021 - July 2022.
• Your Order - submit one order per Nursery setting (do not split your order per class). Only submit more than one order if the Nursery settings are in different areas of the city.
• Special Needs Packs - These packs are complete so no need to order a Treasure Pack as well:

            Book Touch Toddler - blind/sight impairment

            Book Shine Toddler - deaf/hearing impairment.

            Book Star - mobility/fine motor skills

• Dual Language Books - the book is an additional resource for a child whose second language is English. There are 35 languages available.
• Delivery - To support the environment and reduce delivery costs, some orders of Treasure Packs and extra resources will require collection from your local Birmingham Library.
•  Delivery Timeline

Sep - Oct - orders get delivered Nov

Nov - Dec - orders get delivered Jan

Jan - Feb - orders get delivered Mar

Mar - Apr  - orders get delivered May

May - Jul – orders will be subject to availability.

• Collection point - ALL ORDERS need to identify a local Birmingham Library that would be convenient as a collection point. We cannot guarantee delivery of some Treasure pack orders and extra resources if this information is not provided. You will be notified when orders are dispatched to the collection point.
• Local Birmingham Libraries:

Acocks Green, Aston, Balsall Heath, Bartley Green, Birchfield, Bloomsbury, Boldmere, Castle Vale, Druids Heath, Erdington, Frankley, Glebe Farm, Hall Green, Handsworth, Harborne, Kings Heath, Kings Norton, Kingstanding, Library of Birmingham, Mere Green, Mobile library, Northfield, Perry Common, Quinton, Selly Oak Touchbase Pears, Shard End, Sheldon, Small Heath, South Yardley(The Swan), Sparkhill, Spring Hill, Stirchley, Sutton Coldfield, Tower Hill, Walmley, Ward End, Weoley Castle, Yardley Wood    

• Contact details - double check your contact details are correct and that email addresses are active and monitored. Make sure all delivery instructions are up to date and accurate. Try not to use personal email addresses and make sure all staff are aware of the Bookstart Gift. Your contact details will be on the collection labels so as library staff can contact you to arrange the collection of your order.
