Overview

Message from the BCC Director of Public Health, Dr Justin Varney:

We know how hard schools are currently working to offer our children and staff in schools as safe an environment as possible during Covid 19.  We are launching this weekly survey of education settings to help us monitor the situation and provide a way of providing a simple overview that ensures that nothing is slipping through the net. It also provides another opportunity to raise with us any areas where you need further support or advice. The survey doesn’t replace the individual reporting to Public Health England of positive cases, but given the changing nature of the situation it provides a ‘failsafe snapshot’ to ensure we are fully supporting you, your staff and your children.

The survey will be available each Friday afternoon. Would you please ensure that it is completed no later than 2.00 pm on Tuesday 23 June 2020.

All information provided will be treated in confidence in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.

If you have any queries about how to answer this survey, please email: BCCCOVID19@birmingham.gov.uk with ‘BeHeard Education Survey’ in the title.
