Third Sector Organsiations were invited to submit Expressions of Interest in undertaing a Community Asset Transfer of two sites - "Witton Lakes Lodge House" and "Mini Eden Site"

Viewings were carried and interested parties submitted their expressions of interest.

A local housing association was the successful applicant for Witton lakes Lodge House, and the future of the site is now assured as an environmental and community hub.

The Council wishes to see both sites transferred for the purpose of delivering community environmental enterprises, with the emphasis being on local community involvement through environmental awareness and longer term, to bring investment to enhance environmental sustainability and awareness opportunities to the community.
