Gambling Act 2005, Statement of Gambling Principles Review

The Gambling Act 2005 requires the City Council as the Licensing Authority to determine and publish its Statement of Gambling Principles at least every five years, to keep it under review and make such revisions to it, as it considers appropriate.

It should be noted, that the proposed amendments are not intended to reflect the changes to the Gambling Commission’s Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP).  A further, more detailed review of the Policy will be carried out shortly to address these issues.

Why your views matter

The current version of the Policy is now being reviewed, and an important part of this process is consultation.
