Alright Brum, What’s Next?

Birmingham is a great city with lots of strengths. But we know there are things that need to get better too.

Birmingham City Council is creating a new Corporate Plan for the next three to four years. This plan will set out what we want to achieve during this time, with a focus on providing better services and outcomes for local people. 

We want to hear from Birmingham residents about what matters most to you, your family and friends, and the communities you are part of. This survey should take about 10-20 minutes to complete. 

Your ideas will help shape the next chapter for the city and the Council.

What would we like your views on?

The Council's Cabinet has recently agreed six key priorities it wants to focus on for Birmingham:

• A Cleaner, Greener City
• Safer Streets and Better Public Transport
• Fair Housing
• A Birmingham That Works for Everyone
• Empowering Communities
• Responsible Finances

The Council also provides many other important services, including supporting older people, public health, and schools. These services are not covered in this survey, but they remain important and will continue to be provided.

Data and privacy

Data may be shared in internal and external reports. No information will be reported or published that will enable an individual to be identified. Findings from the survey may be used for promotional materials. Any personal data collected will be handled in accordance with the Council’s Privacy Policy:

Why your views matter

Your views are important. We will use your feedback, together with other information, evidence, and available funding, when developing the Corporate Plan.

We will publish a summary of your feedback alongside the new Corporate Plan.
