Listening to the Voices of Ladywood: Resident & Community Charter Feedback

Overview

The Ladywood Estate Regeneration Scheme is Birmingham's most significant housing regeneration and redevelopment opportunity in the last generation and is at the very beginning of a 20-year plan.

We understand the start of our engagement has caused frustration, and we are committed to making sure we do things differently in the future so the community can genuinely feel involved and at the heart of the process.

Through the questions and comments you have shared with us via emails and public meetings it is clear that there is a need for clarity, commitment and reassurance on what to expect from the regeneration scheme. We aim to provide this through working with you to create a Residents & Community Charter.

This online survey has been set up to enable you to share your views and contribute to the charter.

A series of 12 workshops were held in October and November 2023. The Feedback from these workshops have been used to create this survey. Your comments will help us to understand if the topics and priorities shared by your neighbours are reflective of the community and help shape the residents charter further.

Please read the below supplementary information in the video before beginning the survey.

(Please note, all the videos within this survey allow you to pause, move forward or backward through the video or go into full screen mode. Read aloud software will not work on the videos, for this reason we have used an immersive reader tool to narrate. The voice on the video can be muted.)
