There was strong support for majority of the proposed measures. A number of request for additional measures were requested. There was also some objections to some of the proposed measures.

The Full Business Case for the proposed scheme was approved by the Chief Officer and the works were completed in October 2015.
Overview
Birmingham City Council is working in partnership with Centro to deliver LSTF measures along A441 Pershore Road, including ‘Safer Routes to Schools’.
The outline proposals have been developed, in discussions with the School Travel Plan Team for St Thomas Aquinas RC School and Kings Norton Girls School as shown on the attached drawings CA-02102_S13_001 & CA-02102_S13_006. A summary of the proposals are listed below:
(i) St Thomas Aquinas RC School
- New zebra crossing facility, directly fronting the school entrance on Wychall Road.
- Uncontrolled crossing points on Lakehouse Grove, Popes Lane and Chaddesley Road with the junctions of Wychall Road.
- Double yellow lines along Popes Lane.
(ii) Kings Norton Girls School
- Proposed built-out with uncontrolled crossing point on Selly Oak Road in close proximity to Oak Farm Road / Franklin Road junction.
