The key question and aim of the inquiry is “What are the impacts of the Home to School Transport application process and its subsequent outcomes, on the parents/carers and the child’s capacity to access their education and how does that fit with the aspiration for Birmingham to become a child friendly city”

What happens next

The evidence gathering session is planned as follows:

13th November 2019 – 10.00-12.00 hours in Committee Room 6, Council House

Please note Inquiry meetings are primarily for discussion by Members of the Committee only. It is at the discretion of the Chair should they wish to engage members of the public.

The Inquiry is due to present its findings, based on the evidence received, to Members of the City Council early in 2020.
