Overview
Birmingham City Council operates 14 day care nurseries across the city
Around 600 children attend across all the 14 nurseries each week and the nurseries currently employ approximately 120 staff.
The nurseries are running at a loss so the purpose of this consultation is to find a more cost-effective way of delivering these services.
This consultation is not related to the 27 nursery schools.
