Overview

Birmingham City Council plans to procure temporary accommodation for a number of departments currently using bed and breakfast type accommodation for their service users.  This consultation allows providers to register their possible interest and to provide the council with some information needed to determine the nature of the contract.  The contract would be open to providers of accommodation with a number of units that share cooking or toilet facilities or both.  The accommodation might currently be used as bed and breakfast/hotel accommodation or as an HMO or have the potential to be repurposed for this use.  The inclusion of breakfast is not essential.
