Overview
The Gambling Act 2005 requires the City Council as the Licensing Authority to determine and publish its Statement of Gambling Principles at least every three years, to keep it under review and make such revisions to it, as it considers appropriate.
Why your views matter
The current version of the Policy is now being reviewed, and an important part of this process is consultation. See attached draft revised Policy.
What happens next
Following the Consultation a final version of the Statement of Gambling Principles will be presented to Licensing and Public Protection committee for comments prior to full ratification by the City Council.
