Overview
Funding is available for Birmingham City Council to carry out improvements across Sheldon Country park. Potential works could include expanding the play area; installing outdoor gym equipment or fencing and boundary works. Birmingham City Council is particularly interested in resolving the parking issues on Ragley Drive and to provide much needed additional parking around the farm and play area. The former tennis courts on Ragley Drive could become a temporary over flow car park in the summer and in the winter the area could be used as an animal hold. A residents' only parking scheme is propsed on Ragley Drive itself to overcome the summer road congestion. See the plans attached. We want to know what your priorities for the park are in order to finalise plans.
