This consultation formed part of a larger project and filtered into decisions made and recommendations for changes to take place.
Overview
Birmingham's Autism Partnership Boards vision is that all adult's with autism have the same opportunities as anyone else to live rewarding and full lives.
The strategy focuses on six main areas which we intend to deliver progress on:
- Implement training and raise awareness
- Implement pathways for diagnosis
- Improve on opportunities for employment and education
- Improve access to services
- Improve transitions from childhood
- Improve interactions with the criminal justice system.

What happens next
Following the 90 day consultation period responses will be collated and analysed and a finding report as well an updated strategy will be taken to the Integrated Commissioning Board for approval.
