CONSULTATION FEEDBACK BIRMINGHAM CARERS PARTNERSHIP STRATEGY 2024 to 2029
The Draft Birmingham’s Carers Partnership Strategy has been developed by a range of partners including Integrated Care Board (ICB) Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Children’s Trust, providers, and voluntary and community sector colleagues. It represents Birmingham’s vision and continuing commitment to Carers, alongside a commitment to partnership working.
Initial consultation during Carers Week with Carers led to the development of the eight Carers Commitments in the strategy. The commitments will be the basis for the joint action plan to be delivered in partnership across Birmingham. Further consultation led to a new commitment being added - I want to have a choice and access support easily when I need it.
An updated vision was developed based on feedback which was approved following further consultation.
Feedback has led to actions being developed and included in the Partnership Action Plan.
The consultation findings, final draft strategy and Partnership Action Plan are included.
Your views are important to make sure this strategy includes what is important to Carers in Birmingham.
Please let us have any final feedback.
