Overview

This is pre-application information regarding the proposed housing development at the former BCU campus, Perry Barr, which will serve as the residential accommodation for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village, and once the Games are over form the heart of a high quality residential neighbourhood.

The application will be for 1396 homes – a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bed townhouses – along with associated parking, green space and commercial elements.

The information is provided here to enable interested parties who were unable to attend the public exhibition on Monday 4th June 2018 to view the information presented there and make their comments.

What happens next

Any comments received at this stage will be collated as part of the Statement of Community Involvement which will be submitted as part of the Planning Application for the scheme.  There will be further opportunities to make representations on the planning application.
