Overview
The consultation has been extended a further 28 days and now closes on the 28th February.
Birmingham City Council's Landscape Practice Group in partnership with the Council's Planning Department, have been commissioned to produce a long term masterplan for Adderley Park in East Birmingham.
Adderley Park, famous as the first formal park in Birmingham is highlighted as an area in need of environmental improvement in the wider Bordesley Park Area Action Plan, and the East Birmingham Inclusive Growth Strategy. It is also a much loved green space in the local community.
The Landscape Practice Group cordially invite feedback, further ideas, and proposals based on the outline ideas presented in the masterplan (attached below) from all sectors of the local community.
Why your views matter
The ideas in the draft masterplan are a starter for ten to get your creative juices flowing, and we very much need your views to further shape the plans so that they accurately capture your wants and aspirations. This will also make the masterplan as robust as possible and a tool to leverage in future long-term investment for the park.
Consultation on the masterplan is open until Tuesday 31st January 2023 and can be made in the form of online comments in the online consultation below.
Alternatively, comments can be made in person at informal drop-in sessions that will be held at Adderley Park Primary School or online in one of three online drop-in sessions. The details and links to these events are listed below.
Please refer to attachments below for information on upcoming events, and documents supporting the consultation.
